Fish migration

The two films Fish migration and Leakage were shown as a part of a series of films made for Blom´s degree show 'Homebound'  shown in the National College of Art and Design's Graduate exhibition of 2014 'See The Future'.

The choice of material and its story is of importance for Blom's process of developing a narrative and a set of actions in her films.

The wader pants are the centre of attention, either serving as waterproof protection when fishing, as shown in Fish migration.   

Or, in Leakage suspended in the air and punctuated with a sharp knife as a mirrorring of the act of gutting the fish in the previous film mentioned.
